I purchased this unit and used for a few months. From the beginning, it would skip playing cd's. I have never dropped the unit or spilled anything on it to cause any damage. from Qvc.com Both AC or Portable and a remote control. An illuminated alarm clock would make it perfect. That would allow selected AM/FM or CD music to sleep, wake or relax. Sound 4Design 5Reliabilty 5Cost 5 from Circuitcity.com This device works well but the sound quality is cheap, but then the price is cheap as well, so you get what you pay for. I wanted an inexpensive radio/CD player that plugs into the wall and that is what I got. The thing is a good buy for the money paid. from Circuitcity.com I purchased this item and the sound was not great at all. Then about a month after using it, the CD player stopped working. I would not recommend this item at all! from Target.com It is very 'tinny' and there is no way to adjust the tone. I could have lived with that since the purpose I purchased it for was not really for music. Then I just found out the CD player does not work either. Needless to say it is going back. from Target.com I bought this cd player to play a white niose cd for my baby. It works just fine for that. from Amazon.com Anyway, the sound quality is bad, it's sounds like an old transistor radio especially when the sound is turned up. I can never get any radio reception on it so I guess it's not good in that regard either.
