The Omron Body Fat Analyzer will do the job, returning a body fat number after running through a relatively straightforward procedure that includes entering in your height, weight, activity, etc. The unit itself feels a little light weight, perhaps even on the flimsy side - but we've had no problems related to this perception. from Walmart.com I am really impressed with Omron products. She used to measure me and tell me about my status, so I thought it'd be great to have one at home. from Amazon.com As always omron has made a very good reliable measuring device, it is very easy to use and to prgram , and take the measurment in seconds, the reason that i gave it 4 stars is the fact that it does not keep a log of the previuos measurments,so that I can keep track of my progress from Amazon.com I compared the readings from the Omron HBF-306C with a very accurate fat measuring scale (used for measuring bariatric patients prior to surgery) at the hospital I work at and the Omron reads about 7% lower than your actual body fat measurement. So as long as you realize that it is off by A LOT, then get it and just add 7% to the measurement you get from the Omron. from Amazon.com This is a great product. I don't think any of these fat loss monitors really show any consistency when measured side by side.
