before believing all the amazon reviews, i called pharmacists at two local drugstores and asked which brand of blood pressure monitor is the best: both promptly replied "omron".

a friend suggested i get a bp monitor so that i wasn't relying on the often dirty and uncalibrated free monitors at the drug store.
