When I tried it the readings seemed high so I took it in to my physician and had it checked out several times. Each time it was 10+ points higher than the reading on my doctor's machine, and as you know that could mean the difference in taking medication for HBP or not. I called Microlife and they just said that's the way they're made and I they said I couldn't return or exchange it for an accurate machine. We like the fact that it's automatic.
