The 1st couple of times I used it, I thought it was great...but then lately, I've been needing to inflate it to over 250mmHg before the device starts measuring. and it deflates really slowly, so the pressure is kept really high, which really pisses off my patients. from Amazon.com Appeared well made and the instructions were clear and easy to understand but my wife and I did not like it. I purchased this on my Doctor's recommendation to get a cuff type because he felt the wrist band monitor's were not as accurate. Well, we could not get an accurate reading from the LifeSource and it actually HURT when pumped to the point were it signaled it was ready to start. from Amazon.com It is a great product, even if it doesn't measure perfect all the time, it is pretty close. If your blood pressure is too low/high, the device will show it. However, the cuff may be too large, even for large people. I am overweight, and by going with the measurement, I should be using the medium cuff. from Amazon.com It is very easy to use and gives very consistent results that compare well with my physicians. It is also very small and slips easily into it's carry bag which is no problem to transport back and forth from work and does not make me feel as though I am carrying something extra. The quality of the unit and cuff seem excellent and the hose and bulb are of of a professional grade rubber (or whatever its made of). You press one button to turn it on and then it only takes a a 5 or 6 pumps on the bulb to get it pumped up. from Amazon.com I understood that this comes with a medium cuff and knew that would be too big for me, so I ordered the Lifesource small cuff at the same time. I liked the fact I wouldn't need to buy batteries constantly, so didn't mind the extra cost of buying a separate cuff. from Amazon.com I'm happy with this product because it's accurate (compared to Dr.'s office) and easy to use. I think it's superior to many other blood pressure cuffs in that it's batteries last very long compared to those with an automatic pump. I've owned the type with the automatic pump in the past and the readings tend to lose their accuracy as battery power wanes (which is on the order of 10-50 times faster for the automatic pumps). from Amazon.com I was using a monitor with an auto-inflate cuff, and sometimes it would inflate to a painful level.
