i have for some time been using an omron hem-704c at home to track my blood pressure, but purchased the ub-512 so i'd have something more mobile.
i tried it on my wife and myself and the device wouldn't give reasonable readings.
i returned it to my friend and purchased the number one recommended unit out there, the omron hem-650, i give it 5 stars for accuracy and the advanced positioning system it uses.
we followed all the instructions as per the manual and also tried fitting the monitor in different places on the wrist, it still couldn't give accurate readings.
easy to use.
i bought this product after a good amount of research among leading manufacturers of home blood pressure monitors including omron and microlife.
i would recommend this product for home monitoring.
the lifesource ua-789 blood pressure monitor was purchased to replace an aging household monitor.
my doctor advised me to test my blood pressure at home.
the cuff is large -- the monitor is consistent with readings and the whole set-up is easy to use!
i'm happy with this product because it's accurate (compared to dr.'s office) and easy to use.
i bought this product for my relatives, but it is so convinient, i have kept this for myself.
i don't know about its accuracy, but it's consistent enough that you can use it to check your blood pressure on a regular basis for trends or any other changes.
it is very easy to use and gives very consistent results that compare well with my physicians.
it's compact, and easy to use.
the best blood pressure monitor for the money that i have ever used.
