as far as features go, i love the one-piece jar/blade assembly, because it's so ridiculously easy to clean...just toss the whole thing into the dishwasher.

the cord hides under the base, the pitcher is totally easy to put on the base (no fidgeting with the base to fit it on the one way it goes, no leaks from the bottom getting loose) i love it.
