Also, this blender is extremely powerful, so powerful that it will actually move a bit upon turning it on and because it is so powerful, it is very loud too.

In fact, one of the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that, if anything, it's slightly overpowered to the point that one should definitely never even think of turning this blender on w/o securing the lid.
