Best Countertop Blenders for Versatility

i've used it for mostly making smoothies so far and it works wonderfully, easy to clean, very powerful, not obnoxiously loud, and has not problem with ice and frozen bananas.

i have made soups, smoothies, etc.

we have a smoothie every morning.

i've bought and burned up many blender/smoothie makers before finding the vita-mix.

however, trying it out with a few different recipes convinced me that this blender is the only way to go to make frozen drinks and smoothies.

the different drinks it makes - rita's, daq's, colada's and smoothies are set on one knob.

the kids love the smoothie and "virgin" 'colada recipies.

it's the same professional blender used by bartenders, smoothie shops, and starbucks to make frozen drinks.

it does make all sorts of frozen drinks to include smoothies.

between smoothies, snow cones, and margaritas we've thoroughly enjoyed it.

we have used it regularly for both margaritas and regular smoothies with awesome results each time.

smoothies and iced coffee turned out well.

i make protein shakes in it every day (for the past 6 months) and have only had one problem where the mug wouldn't come out of the base.

but all in all, it is a lot of fun to play with and created quick smoothies, milkshakes and things.

we use it for fruit smoothies, protein shakes, crushed ice, scambled eggs, etc.

my husband loves it when i make him milkshakes.
