Love my Cuisinart Cordless Handblender!! Easy to charge, use and disassemble for cleaning. from Cooking.com I am so irritated right now. I'll bet this is a wonderful product but mine was defective out of the box. The hand motor wouldn't properly attach to the attachments rendering it utterly useless. I am so, so disappointed. from Amazon.com which was a big mistake. The hot water warped the plastic and I couldn't put the parts back together... which leads to my next problem with Cuisinart. I went on line to order the replacement part. from Amazon.com The item was defective out of the box -- motor shaft was out of alignment, so it couldn't be coupled to any of the attachments. OK, so defects happen. When I called Cuisinart, they explained that their limited warranty requires me to pay $10 for them to ship me a new one AND for me to pay for shipping the old one back, lest they charge me for the new one. I imagine it's a great product, but be aware it's going to cost you $20 plus hassle if it's defective. from Amazon.com This is a wonderfully powerful hand blender.
