LOVE this item! I also love my KitchenAid mixer and blender, but with the Hamilton Beach hand blender, I don't have to drag out the heavy big guns to make whipped cream, whip egg whites for meringue or make smoothies. I keep it handy in the utensil crock on the counter, use it, and pop the attachments in the dishwasher. from Amazon.com I bought this hand blender for my daughter. I since bought a regular mixer for making whip cream it does a far better job than an immersion blender.
