We tried to get it replaced with the 1 year warranty but the company Black & Decker has doing their consumer services will not honor the warranty.
So, I Called Black & Decker to cash in on the warrenty, but they would only replace it with a blender that was of lesser value.
Black & Decker does not sell accessories like tampers, although the lids have holes for them.
I called Black & Decker and all they would tell me was that it had been longer than the 12-month warranty period, and there was nothing they could do about it.
The Black & Decker line of blenders are riddled with design flaws and manufacturing flaws, it's a complete failure.
I decided to just get a little cheapie blender til I could shell out another 50 bucks for a "real" smoothie maker, so for 18.99 I chose this little Black & Decker.
no ice or anything i would imagine would test the name of black & decker.

Not only is it a waste of money, it is also a safety hazard [...] Both Target and Black & Decker should be ashamed of themselves for being associated with this product.
Recently received the Black & Decker Problend model, I could have had better sucess crushing ice with my dentures out!
My husband bought this blender for me and I was so excited, it looked really nice and matched my kitchen and I figured I could not go wrong with Black & Decker, boy was I wrong!
