First thing is the binoculars pictured are not the one's you will get. 444's are the newer sort of "racier" version of the 442's pictured. My first impression opening the box was, "wow, much lighter than I expected". from Amazon.com it can be so hard to find a good pair of binoculars that look clear and sharp and don't make your eyes bug out, all at a reasonable price, of course these were still a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth the money. from Amazon.com
