think i got the 4 mp NOT the 5mp need some help on this one from Amazon.com Not a good product. I had to return the one I purchased. Barska has acknowledged they have a problem with this model using up batteries. I went through 10 batteries in 4 days. from Amazon.com No the pictures aren't high end quality digital, but I didn't expect them to be in a binocular combo. My only surprise was that I 'assumed' I'd be getting 'sound with video' and it's just strictly video. Observed a herd of horses today and it was amazingly clear and crisp with both the binocular viewing, pictures and video. So far, so good. from Amazon.com Many concerts do not allow you to bring in a camera, or they only allow the little point-and-shoot digitals that most people have but those do not zoom in enough or capture enough light for very good concert pictures. I've used these at an outdoor arena (from the cheapo lawn seats) and an indoor stadium (good seats but not directly up front, as you can't take focused pictures if you are TOO close), and the pictures were great. from Amazon.com I bought this item earlier in July 2008, & I did get the 2GB mem card also. The binoculars were not in focus when it arrived. The focal length was off so you couldn't get both eyes in focus at the same time and the left eye prism was ascew so you would see two views instead of one. I was able to take the item apart and properly align the optics, and now the whole thing works great, and the camera takes hi quality pics @ all 4 settings. from Amazon.com Good quality for the price.
