i set it up running vista, and i've locked down their user account using windows steadystate so that the level of damage they can do is minimal.they love it, and mom and dad couldn't be any happier

it is by no means a gaming machine but it does handle the regular day to day tasks quite nicely which is 98% of what i require from it.

(some people think they're too short, but i suspect they're just used to more sloppy standard pc wiring.) there's one pcie socket on my mb, it could be used for either a wifi card or a ssd.
