Pros: Shuttle DOES listen & several things noted as "con's" in the past seem to be addressed in the unit I received. But those "con's" were pretty minor in my mind to begin with. from Newegg.com Cons: Like many others on here, I've also experienced the dreaded "Verifying DMI Pool" issues on boot-up. Seems every time I go into the BIOS and make a change I get that error. Contrary to Shuttle's Tech Support, "Verifying DMI Pool" isn't due to the hard drive. I've had 20 different HD's in this thing, all of them have that error? from Newegg.com In the BIOS, It is set to MAX, which is supposed to be 384MB. But when I check in windows, the max is 128MB. 2)Shuttle tech support for this issue is weak.3)Comes with only 1 SATA data cable. Other Thoughts: After reading the numerous bad reviews I bought it anyway. from Newegg.com Gave up and got an RMA. Bought a ATX case and motherboard instead. If you use it on a desktop in a dark room, you'll probably have to cover it so it isn't distracting. Other Thoughts: This is the first Shuttle build I've done, and I have to say that it was one of the easiest builds ever. Shuttle cases looked sweet, and after shopping around a few sites, newegg provided me the most information - complete specs, plus extensive consumer feedback. Delivery was fast (3 days), and thanks to comments and Shuttle's diagrams, I had my first computer built within 45 minutes of signing the UPS package. from Newegg.com They have asked me to do things that the average user would never have been able to do. I'm ready to through in the towel but there's a $65 charge for "evaluation" even though it's under warranty. Last Shuttle for me (last one worked flawless from the first minute). Other Thoughts: I think I got a bad one, but I'm getting tired of trying to continuously isolate the problem for an obviously defective unit. from Newegg.com Both are running great and I can stack them in less space than my old mid-tower case and run both from a single 750VA UPS without issue. No problems with drivers for either OS. Shuttle provided Windows drivers work great and Linux auto-loads everything. Cons: None really. from Newegg.com
