i like this carrier but after a while of having baby in it, it hurts your back!
it is comfortable to wear, and it's easy to learn how to switch baby from front to back and back again, without help!
all the weight rests on your hips, so it doesn't kill your back like the bjorn or other slings.
this is an excellent backpack carrier!
i don't feel pulling on my back.
even my mother-in-law, who has back problems is able to use this to carry our child who weighs around 30 lbs and is 33" long.
my husband wore it day after day after day and never had any issues or any back pain.

the material and quality is great, but my daughter was just to heavy for it, walking any where for more than 15 minutes, hurt my back, so it just didn't work for me.
easy on the back, and pretty stylish as well.
the best part is that it gives really good back support which is so important when you're carrying your baby for a while.
this carrier is great on my back and it's very easy to adjust.
i haven't had a problem with my back hurting, either, but my baby is still little.

this is a great backpack carrier.
i love that the diaper bag zips off for when we didn't need it--or so i could put the larger backpack in the overhead compartment and smaller bag under the seat on the plane.
the backpack is huge and there's an extra diaper bag part that comes off.
with my baby on my hip it's comfortable for me and she can see the world (unlike being on my back with other carriers.
i ordered it and have truly never looked back.
my son and i love our mei hip., it's really comfortable and i like how it keeps all of his weight off my back on on my hips.

it kept her close to me and spread the weight across my back instead of on my shoulders.
at this point(3 months old) he can hold his head up without assistance-which is required for this position and most others-, but not his back.
it is impossible for me to reach the kickstand to fold it in once the pack is on my back.
my husband and i easily pass it back and forth between us, and sometimes switch the 3 year old for the 8 month old in it, and all the adjustments are simple, quick and it is comfortable for everyone.
plus it adds a little extra shade having the tall part in back.
we've been backpacking for years.
after several miles of hiking, no pain or soreness materialized in my back whatsoever while carrying a 25-pound (about 11.5-kg) child.
i keep it on me the whole weekend so i can pop baby into the sling soon as we get out of the car, then pop him back out to put him on a shopping cart, pop him back in when we're checking out, without
put it on, put her in it, adjust the fabric up her back, and off we went.
even so, it still works well for me but will take a toll on your back after a while.
we also have a baby bjorn that my husband used occasionally, but the baby bjorn really hurt my back and shoulders, the peanut shell didn't.
i was hoping to find some sort of carrier that i could put on my back that wasn't one of those big hiking things and this was it.
it has a place for your money and it has a decent back support, just adjust it right the first time you put it on and it stays.
it doesn't put too much weight on your shoulders or back and this of all things is one of the only things that will soothe my 4 month old.
i got a lot of use out of both carriers, but now that my baby is five months old, she really likes to be worn on my back.
my baby likes to recline back a little and see the world instead of having her head against my chest all of the time.

i have two herniated discs in my back, and so far this sling is comfortable to use.....i don't know how it will be when my baby weighs more, but for now it is perfect.
feels very secure/safe - baby loves how we can rub/scratch her back when she's in it.
(i can even fold it up in my pocket, for use during our walks!) nom more hot padding, rings that slip and backaches!
