the second i put him in this wrap he was asleep and i also use it to lull him to sleep at night after the midnight feeding.
my daughter loves it (she's now 2.5 months) and it has cut way down on the colicky hours at night.
made those long nights of carrying her around while she cried, much easier!
or, at night i just peel off the wrap and she stays asleep while i put her into our bed.
good night lullabies
i also received a backpack-style carrier which was a total nightmare for me-it takes 2 adults to put it on and take it off.
i walk her and our dogs about 3 miles a night using the carrier and it is incredibly comfortable.
we even use it on those nights where she is fighting going to sleep, put her in it and start doing stuff around the house she is asleep in no time from the swaying movement.
when our daughter was a newborn, my husband would strap this on at night when our daughter was fussy and he would walk around with her and it worked like a charm.
the carrier i had with my son was a nightmare to put on alone, to me that's useless!
i've also read that babies who sleep in slings (as opposed to front packs or in cribs) sleep better and longer at night.
but this doesn't mean that she won't go to sleep at night.
and yes my 10 week old daughter does sleep through the night, and has been since she was 6 weeks old.
besides, if the baby is falling asleep every time you put him/her in the sling, what are the chances your baby is sleeping through the night like mine?
ok, bought this last night to sub the $65 sling carrier that freaked out my little peanut cuz it covered the face.
it arrived last night and already i love it.
this carrier is a nightmare...
