while easy to take on and off (we did it zillions of times), the snaps are made so well and entirely secure so that you feel secure.

i agree with other reviewers that it can take some time to figure out, but once you master the straps and snaps, it's far more efficient than a stroller.

you put your arms through the straps and the front of the carrier is open, you then take the front piece and snap it on (very easy) you can then place your baby on you and hold him/her with one arm

the sides flop around so you have to basically hold it around your baby like a blanket until she's fastened in (with the regular bjorn, you can snap one side and your baby is already pretty secure).

i have tried other baby carriers which were so complicated to use-with buckles and straps and snaps...

there is no way to snap it or velcro it down, and the tensioner straps designed to aid in holding the child closer to your chest are insufficient to keep it lying flat once folded.

pros: easy to use-color coated snaps.

the advantage of this gray & white carrier is that the fasteners at the top snap in quite nicely, much nicer than they did in past models.this is also more minimalist in design than the other

my son who is 12lbs already was very fussy with all the other carriers i tried with snaps and ties and too much mess to go on!

a one piece carrier that just snaps into place like the ergo or baby bjorn seems to be easier.
