i have used the moby wrap carrier while walking with my two year old son and it's great!
to be held all the time (and what baby doesn't?), and in between the cramping arms and dirty dishes that were pilling in my sink, this wrap made it possible for this mom to have two hands again!
i have two friends who are due in the next three months, and i think i will have to get them their own as baby shower gifts!
it is great to be able to tuck her head under the fabric to keep her so tight that i can do all kinds of household chores and run after my two year old son.
this worked fine for another month or two until he was facing out, but as he got heavier, the carrier became harder on my back.
i also used it to nurse and it was so amazing to have two hands free again.
i was skeptical at first, but i had tried two other styles, the bobby sling and the baby bjorn and didn't care for either.
she is almost two months and i got it when she was about four weeks.
it's so easy to use - no wrapping, just two loops of fabric - and has lots of carrying positions.
the loop that holds the two pieces of fabric can be a little difficult to reach...it is supposed to be in the middle of your back when positioned right but seems to be a little higher on me.
we are new parents to twins, and i purchased this sling because of the ability to actually have two newborns in here it once.
i tried jacob in it at two weeks, and he didn't like it--too much fabric around his head.
my other two are both pouch slings: a hotsling and an adjustable mayawrap pouch sling.
i look forward to using this for a long time, and sure wish i had it for my first two kids - i would have loved it, and i could have carried them more than i was able to.
it is great to have two free hands.
i have two little boys and i am pregnant with our 3rd baby, a girl.
anytime she's fussy i put her in it and she calms down after a minute or two and usually falls asleep shortly.
overall this is a fantastic, safe, versatile carrier with the two exceptions mentioned.
we have been using it for about two months now and it's so nice to have two free hands while still holding the baby.
i bought two of these to carry our twin daughters (3.5 months) around.
after our poor newborn flopped around all over the place while i tried to get it unbuckled on two separate trips, i gave up.
i loved it but found it to be very small; my first two children seemed to grow out of it very fast.
it fit around her very well, but i had two issues with it.
i love the convience of two handed chores with my baby right next to me.
i've had this home for probably two weeks.
i wish i had found this with my other two kids.
however, as soon as i put her into the wrap, she closes her eyes within two minutes.
i have worn him in two differant positions, the new born hold and now that he is bigger he can be worn facing me.
very cool design - like two slings together.
before purchasing this product, i've tried two different kinds of carrier...
it offers a more natural feeling of "cradling" my baby, but with the abilty to have a free hand (or two!).
it's easy to use and my two week old baby loves it...he falls asleep in minutes whever he's in it.
with two fussy boys my experience has been great with this sling, they loved it and were soothed by being in it.
it seems that he starts out facing out the opening, but after a minute or two i look down, and he is facing in toward me.
i looked carefully at two knapsack style carriers - the transit 2.1 and deuter kangakid.
plus, the two front pockets actually unzip to become a small backpack that a child could use there first two years of school.
there are two side pockets to put drinks in.
i purchased a gently used baby bjorn original for $20-i was amazed by how well it held up after having already been through two baby boys and then onto my little girl.
excellent product, safe, very convenient and was used for hours with my two daughters from 3 month - 1.5 years.
the initial instructions were super clear to follow and helpfully illustrated how to connect the two pieces of the carrier, tighten or loosen the straps, and, of course, how to safely load or unload
this took a time or two to get used to, but after that it's fine.
i wasn't sure how i was going to get around with the two of them, but the carrier has been a huge help.
we walk with our son and our two dogs, he loves it and the dogs still get their attention too!
the wrap is the way to go and is helpful in two main ways with an infant 1) it allows you to do things hands free without the worry of supporting your infants head and 2) it holds the infant close to
the first time i tied too loosely and my two year old was a bit timid in the carrier.
my newborn loves it- he's two months now, and sometimes he fusses until i put him in the wrap.
it's a little tricky - but what i do is put him sideways, then put the two arm straps to support his shoulders and his butt.
i bought this when my second child was born, two years ago, and i am still using it now with him.
this is a wonderfull product as a mother of two, i was looking for help holding the baby while playing with the 5 y.o.
i've carried her for two hours before and had no problems.
every mother of any age should have one or two.
i do not understand why every parent doesn't have one...or two :).
being an active on-the-go mom of two little ones, i needed a comfortable, safe, easy to use sling for my 4 week old.
just yesterday, i wore it for two hours while shopping.
if it weren't for those two things which would be a super easy fix for the manufacturer, it would be perfect.
yes, i had to adjust it, but there's still another inch or two on each side for even bigger chested people.
i hike hills up to two hours with my seven month old (19 lbs) in the pack without problems.
there are two buttons under the fabric.
besides normal (shopping, around the house, etc) wear, it made two separate 10-day trips to disney so easy and my son was so happy up where he could see, plus it was good security for the rides.
with an active 2.5 year old it is a must to keep two hands free as often as possible and this carrier works very well.
it is a lifesaver as a mom of two.
my son was two months old at the time and it was a life saver.
i know i'll use them for sure :) when we went with my husband to purchase a double stroller for our two children than we found out what our son hits his head on baby's car seat at any double stroller.
it can be hard on the back in the shoulder blade area, as well as on the shoulder if used for a long stretch of time, but keeping the two layers as spread out (vs.
