i prefer to carry my baby around with me and this makes it so much easier.
he is a big baby though so i am not sure how long i will get to use it because i am sure he will soon be too heavey despite how big they say baby can be for it.
my baby is six months, and 22lbs, this sling is such a help with out it i wouldn't be able to carry him everywhere with me!
at first it may seem confusing, how to fold it, where to put the baby, etc, but you'll have it down with a little practice and then wonder how you ever thought it was hard.
my baby boy constantly wanted to be held up until about 3 months of age.
i saw these slings at target and found them comparable to sling type carriers i had seen in baby boutiques for $20 to $60 more.
this is has been our most used baby product!
my baby is 7 months old and loves this product, he almost always goes to sleep or stays very serene and peaceful as soon as i start moving.
baby stays close and comfortable, and is a safe position to sleep in as an infant.
this is a great product and comes in very handy when carrying and bonding with my baby and having a free hand to do other stuff.
it is much easier to get baby in and out of than a pack-style carrier yet baby is secure - and we've put it through the paces, chasing around 20 month old big sister.
i had a baby bjorn and couldn't use it for long because my back started to hurt too much.
my mom can't wear it when she babysits since she would be a different size.
this is a comfortable, convenient and best of all fashionable baby carrier.
i got the hotsling for my daughter who lives in germany she really likes the versatility for our new baby/ grandson when he is snuggled close to her body without feeling as if he might fall out.
you don't need two people to put it on or help you to put the baby in.
my baby really didn't like this carrier when she was a newborn but now that she is a little older and can face out she loves it.
our baby loves to walk around the house, malls, outdoors..everywhere in it!
it was a baby shower gift and i love it.
it is designed for comfort to both you and your baby.
i have a four month old baby boy.
i love the fact that the baby gets put on you separately.
the fisher price carrier is a must when you have a newborn.
it adjusts very easy to different size babys.
at first we bought babybjorn carrier and then we decided to get this one because it says that you can put the baby inside the part of the carrier like in diaper and then easy to undo not interrupting
i can usually take a nice long neighborhood walk with it just fine and i am small (5'2") and my baby is about 16 lbs.
great back and shoulder support for parents and it lets baby be forward facing.
nice fit, i felt very comfortable that my baby was secure.
i really like carrying our baby around and this is one of my favorites, the other one is the peanut shell sling in black also :-).
my son recently outgrew the baby bjorn (now 8 months, 17 pounds).
you can't do everything while wearing your baby, but it really does make life easier.
i was hesitant about using it at first...i was afraid that the baby would not be secure, but it has become a life saver.
i like this sling because i can put my baby fast in and out, he can nurse easier then in a wrap (no adjustment needed) and also he has more room.
i tried 2 others: the infantino sling rider (which only satisfied my newborn for a week) and the hotsling, too stiff and no adjustable straps.
the infantino sling rider was hated by our second and third child.
very comfortable for me and baby.
my baby ktan is so easy to wear and feels like a t-shirt.
this is a fabulous baby carrier.
the fabric is stretchy and comfortable, and eases back and shoulder strain - even with a very big baby!
however, i think the baby ktan baby carrier is quickly becoming my favorite.
my daughter loved it when she was a baby.
our baby loves her sling- and settles down immediatly after we put her in it.
it makes such a difference to try it on with baby because if it's too low it will be extremely uncomfortable.
i have a baby wrap that i've been using since he was born, which is nice, but it's kind of a process.
i sing "goin bye byes" from baby clean fun (www.babycleanfun.com) to my 8 month old as i load her in the carrier to take a walk.
baby is comfy and warm and really likes it.
i tried another sling before this one, and my baby hated being in it most of the time and it was really uncomfortable for me too.
bought this hotsling for my daughter-in-law who had her third baby recently.
my 9 week old baby has loved the closeness of being in the sling from the very beginning.
my wife and i were looking for a carrier that could also carry the essentials for a baby and guess what?
pros: comfortable, convenient, very well made cons: can be tricky to get the baby in & is a bit large the bottom line: i recommend this carrier.
this is a good carrier except it is a little difficult to set baby up.
the straps are comfortable and it is soft and comfy for the baby.
i purchased this carrier after registering for and receiving the parents of invention ultimate baby mei tai black reversible one-size-fits-all for my baby shower.
this is an excellent buy for anyone whose baby doesnot like the ride in the stroller.
highly recommend, particularly for second time mothers who need to carry their baby, and have free hands for their toddler all at the same time.
it's cozier than keeping my infant in his carseat carrier.
from newborn till toddlerhood we used this awesome carrier.
i got a hotsling after my baby was too heavy to use the bjorn.
if you are to get one, make sure you go somewhere that you can try them on with your baby to make sure you know how to use it correctly and that your baby likes it.
it's so much easier to use than other types of baby carriers because you just slide baby in and out.
i found the peanut shell with this baby (mary ann) and have been using it since her birth 7 weeks ago.
this is a really great item for my newborn who fusses - if she won't nod off (or gets the hiccups), i carry her around in it and she always falls asleep.
i enjoyed using this while our baby was new, under 10 pounds.
after the baby bjorn, snugli carriers, playtex hipsling...this is officially the only sling my baby will use.
my baby hates this carrier!
so, my husband, baby and i went to target to try them out.
i use the baby bjorn active carrier and love that.
i unclip the top buttons (easy); up clip the side belts (easy); pull the velcro apart from his sides (a little noisy but not enough to wake the baby) and i lay the whole thing down on the carpet just
the price is wonderful compared to other baby carriers, especially considering the many great features.
i borrowed my sisters bjorn for a few months and then she needed it back because she has a new baby.
you can loosen the straps and even breast feed your baby in the carrier which is very convenient when out and about.
it is a lot like the older beco with no infant insert for tiny babies.
pros: * easy to put on* baby can face in or out* adjustable buckles cons: * risk of hip displacement* limited use until baby is too heavy the bottom line: there are better baby carriers out there
