it's comfortable without pulling on your back and allows you full control of your baby.
this product was recommended to me by several medical practitioners so i of course opted for it over the baby bjorn or popular sling.
my baby wants to be held nonstop and this product has been wonderful for us.
all in all, it's a great product, and i'd certainly recommend it to anyone with an infant.
the guide shows easy to follow pictures and written instructions and although i expected to have to try it a few times before being successful both my baby and i were pleased the very first try!
but i was still afraid to put baby in it.
i always put my baby in it to grocery shop, which takes at least an hour each time (we walk to the grocery store and back).
i either have it too snug so baby and me feel like we're in shrink wrap or it's too loose and i end up wearing baby around my waist and i have loose fabric everywhere.
it looks very complicated and hard to use but after watching it being put on once, i was able to put it on myself and get my baby in it without any problems.
my son was too small for baby carriers like the bjorn at birth so i tried the moby wrap and we love it.
mom has found it to have a more natural feeling/carrying position and less painful on the back than the baby bjorn.
it's beautiful material and it's so comfortable for me and the baby.
and used it when my baby was only a few days old.
it was a total life saver while grocery shopping with my 2 1/2 year old and brand new baby.
i love that i can totally cover my baby to make it dark adn quiet so he can nap while i carry on with life.
i practiced in the house and around the neighborhood a couple of times to find out how to tie it and the best position for my baby.
i am very satisfied with this product since my baby is happy being close to me and i am able to get things done while he is with me.
i must say that this is the best baby product i have ever purchased!
only advice - tighter is better so tie it as tightly as you can and it'll be so much easier and safer with baby inside.
takes a couple tries to get comfortable with tying it and fitting baby inside correctly, but after that, you'll both love it!
used the baby bjorn, it worked.
it seems well put together, baby feels safe in it and it's great to have 2 free hands!
i was going to get a baby bjorn (just because i had heard how wonderful they were), but when i saw them side by side, the jeep had very similar locking mechanisms so i decided to give it a try.
baby fit well in it.
also, it can expand with just a zipper pull for a bigger baby.
after a few tries, it became very easy to get baby in and out.
as for the product itself, yes it looks strong enough for a baby to be held up right without having him/her look as if she is ready to fall out like cheap brands.
i recieved the bjorn as a gift and it is one of the most benifical product in my collection of baby essentials.
this is a great product i used it with both of my kids and have it stored for baby number three.
i have a big baby, and this product made it comfortable to carry him, with the lumbar support.
this product works better if your baby is a little older, when he is too young his head bounced around alot and so you have to use one hand to support it.
breathable fabric cons: a little on the pricey side the bottom line: a great product to use to carry your baby.
the only reason i gave it 4 stars is becuase it is a little difficult to manuever baby in and out.
the adjustments are easy to make and the product, once you get the hang of it, is easy to use with baby.
this product keeps both the baby and the wearer cool and comfortable.
i used to have one of the original baby bjorn carriers with the snaps, but the new design of this one makes it much easier!
the 'active' part of this carrier is extra back support and a nice feature but i was unsure how much more support it gave over the standard baby bjorn.
we decided to purchase the active carrier because we planned to use it frequently and we were warned that we would have a big baby, therefore, we opted for the extra support of the active model.
i can carry my baby for hours in the mall with this product, however my baby is not so big, average, so if you have a big baby, try it in store first.
this is a wonderfull product as a mother of two, i was looking for help holding the baby while playing with the 5 y.o.
it is great for walking the dog and carrying the baby instead of a stroller.
i love my slingeeze it's the best thing i have gotten for my baby.
best uses: kept baby happy on numerous cross-pacific flights.
this is something i can use for months to come and probably with the second baby.
in all i would say this is a pretty great product considering it is inexpensive compared to other brands.i did find that when my baby was about a month old and i took her out with me on a shopping
i have no doubt that this product would be able to handle a baby up to 26 pounds, but i wouldn't want to put that sort of strain on my shoulders.
it was so nice to have my little boy near me and not worrying about carrying and balancing a heavy carseat (especially after my c-section!) or using the baby seats in the shopping carts.
my baby is 4 months now and loves to go along with me when i water the lawn, go to the store and even grandma loves it too.
i put this carrier on my baby registry and was given it as a gift at my shower.
it holds the baby tight against my torso and is so comfy.
it was a bit large, baby kinda "bounced" in it.
you can google peanut shell's web site to get all the directions for the various ways you can "wear" your baby in it.
i like my peanut shell because it is easy to get the baby into it since it is non-adjustable.
this sling is amazing and when baby is little it's wonderful.
she is not a little baby anymore (all 18lbs) and with my sciatica i have to be very careful to make sure that my back is not strained.
i love it and have been walking around carrying both my babies since they've been 3 weeks (8 & 7 lbs) old and it works great for us.
love the product..how you can change positions without removing baby and harness for various purposes...how daddy can wear it comfortably, too; how well it is made.
after reading many online reviews, asking other baby-wearers, and trying four other baby carriers, it is my opinion that the ergo is the best carrier for my baby and for me.
wearing a baby, or carrying a baby in a whatever device or strap or piece of inorganic or organic fabric is also suppose to be functional and comfortable.
this kelty is by far the most comfortable for your baby!
it adjusts in many ways, both for baby and parent.
our baby (18 months) is really happy in this, it's much more comfortable for her at this age than the ergo, plus she gets a better (higher) view.
i have a 13 year old and back when she was a baby, this thing was sooooo heavy, that i basically never used it.
the adjustments for the baby were easy to make.
the fabric is stretchy and comfortable, and eases back and shoulder strain - even with a very big baby!
this is a fabulous baby carrier.
however, i think the baby ktan baby carrier is quickly becoming my favorite.
very comfortable for me and baby.
my baby and i love this new baby carrier.
i have a 3 week old baby who loves this sling.
carried my 10 month old baby in this sling at the airport for almost 2 hours due to delays.
this is a super carrier for older babies.
a very convenient way to have the baby with me while i do some things around the house, eat a meal or check my email.
she also likes the baby bjorn, but the hotsling lets her rest without having to hold her head up all of the time.
i have been using it since my baby was about 3 months old (she's five months now) and it has been, almost literally, a life saver.
i own several baby carriers, and this is probably his favorite.
baby made my back hurt very quickly because of the thin straps.
i have numerous baby carriers, and each has its different uses, but the one i love for around the house and short trips is my maya wrap ring sling.
i am a big fan of babywearing in general and this is the starter sling i recommend most highly.
