great back and shoulder support for parents and it lets baby be forward facing.
i can usually take a nice long neighborhood walk with it just fine and i am small (5'2") and my baby is about 16 lbs.
we just got this last week and we went hiking with baby.

i really like carrying our baby around and this is one of my favorites, the other one is the peanut shell sling in black also :-).

being an avid hiker/camper, i am used to and very comfortable with the buckles on the kelty.
