I recently had my second child and was not happy with the sling I owned nor was I ready for the Baby Bjorn. A friend suggested the Sleepy Wrap and I ordered it immediately. It is so simple and my newborn LOVES it.
It is the best ever. Easy to use, comfortable for both mom and baby, and absolutely makes life easier. Baby is now 3 weeks old and we have been using the wrap since he was 4 days old. I LOVE it and so does baby.
I read MANY reviews on this product before choosing to buy it, and now I wish I hadn't. The fabric is stretchy and my baby sinks down way too far. After wearing the wrap for 10 minutes, I have to take it off and put it back on to keep the baby up. My son is now 17 lbs and I bought this when he was 10 lbs.
We love this wrap. It is very easy to tie and very comfortable for both me and the baby.
We have used this a few times with our newborn. The wrap itself is not hard to figure out. I was worried that I would have to keep referencing the directions but I had it memorized by the second try.
I must say that this is the BEST baby product I have ever purchased! We own two of them and my 6-month-old son lives in this wrap. It does take a few tries to get the wrap perfected so that it feels automatically easy when putting it on.
I used it when my son was a newborn to carry him around the house - it gave me back my mobility since I could carry him around and do things such as make my own breakfast and eat! My son is now 4 months and I still use it. I don't bother taking a stroller anywhere I just tie the wrap and go. He LOVES it.
I received the wrap today, and was anxious to put it to use. Tonight, our 3 week old son was not wanting to sleep or calm down.
I like this wrap because it is made of stretchier material than the Moby so I can wrap it before I put baby in it. I have tried a number of different wraps and this one is the best for newborns.
I use as exercise ball instead of an office chair at my computer desk, so I'm able to bounce her to sleep and keep her moving while sitting at the computer typing. I usually put this on at home then wear it out so I can easily get her in and out w/o putting it on in public (it's not hard to put on, but long (like all wraps) so the bottom touches the ground). If I have to put it on in public I do it at my car with the fabric sitting in a pile on the seat while I'm standing by the door.
