I bought this product for my husband... also ordered a hotsling but my husband and I have a big size difference so we can't share one sling... from Amazon.com We used the carrier only as long as the baby was under approx. 6 kg, and even in that time it was not really confortable. from Amazon.com the active is more comfortable and more hot to wear and the sport one is less comfortable but is better for hot weather. my wife likes better the active. both are really great and our girls like to travel with us. from Amazon.com As far as front carriers go, this one with extra lumbar support is good. My son is now 4 months old and weighs just over 14 pounds and is getting too heavy for my to carry around in this. When he was younger it worked much better for us.
