We've used the Avent system with my daughter since she was three months old. So far, we've liked these bottles and nipples very much. from Amazon.com My wife chose Avent on recommendation from a friend and we glad we did. BUT the new BPA free bottles that I am using now with my second child leak all over the place. from Amazon.com Avent bottles are great however if you twist the top on too tight, there's a strong possibility that the bottle will leak. The reason for the leakage is the silicone nipple base rippling due to friction with the bottle when the top is twisted on tightly. from Amazon.com unless you get the cap on just right these are leaky - i am not interested in playing with the cap a few times to get a correct seal when there are so many other bottles that never leak - I had 6 of them and thru them in the trash after countless leaks on my son's chest. from Amazon.com Item came in wonderful condition.
