Although I read the reviews, I wasn't looking for something with particularly outstanding sound quality. I justed wanted to be able to listen to music in my office at night without having another program running on my machine.

Bose has essenetially always been a household name when it comes to superior docking products for Apple's iPod. However, with regards to controls, the Bose system provides us with a lackluster design and limited interface. The JBL boasts superior user interface and, although subjective, equal or superior aesthetics. The JBL remote control allows a user to interact with 100% of the iPod's user menus.
Bought this a few weeks ago for my iPod Classic (6G). Sounds quite good; remote works well but takes some getting used to.
For the size speaker, this little guy produces excellent sound, especially if you're trying to fill a single room with music. I'd recommend the larger JBL Radial Speaker (non-Micro size) for situations needing a bigger sound (multiple rooms, up and downstairs, etc.).
got this speaker set Black Friday, after I got a special bluetooth adaptor which can make ipod speaker becomes bluetooth speakers (it's $10 from Sprint store) then I went to store to check out ipod speaker, this one has decent sound, well balanced, but I notice the bass rolls off rapidly before 60Hz
I bought the JBL Radial Micro - White for my daughter as a 10th birday present. The price is right at $129.99.
I bought this based on all the great reviews, but having listened to it for two weeks, I have to say it is over rated. While it has plenty of volume to fill a decent sized room, the sound is somewhat hollow (for lack of a better term).
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it. We got this for her iPod Nano.
The sound is clear and even my audiobooks sound nice. The remote works well and the ipod fits nicely with the included adapters. JBL includes 8 adapters in the box-for different players. I am tired of moving it around the house, so I plan to buy at least one more for another part of the house.
