I wanted to pick-up a mid-priced dock/speaker system for my iPod and I have always wanted to try to Klipsch speakers based on their reputation. When I saw the iGroove SXT at Best Buy - I figured for the price ($149.99), Klipsch would be the brand to go with.
Pros: Amazing sound from a compact speaker system Cons: Nope Other Thoughts: I was a little apprehensive re the plastic enclosure, but Klipsch quality came through. Amazing sound at whatever volume level you choose.
There was a time when Klipsch was at a premium product trusted and adored by audiophiles. Now you get some cheap asian import with the Klipsch brand on it to play lossy audio recorded from lossy recordings, through a player that has about $5.00 worth of marginally engineered electronics.

The remote stopped working on the first one I received after just a week, followed by the ability to adjust the volume even from the base unit. After an RMA, the the new unit worked fine, for a week and then the remote failed again. That's enough to steer me clear of Klipsch computer/iPod related accessories. Other Thoughts: I've always admired Klipsch, and I still love their speaker division, but I think I'm done with their consumer electronics products.
Klipsch's entry-level iGroove SXT iPod speaker system may be short on features, but it delivers a big, muscular sound considering its compact size.
Sounds quality is as good as bose version for half the price, but you must remove IPod protective skin to dock (if you have one). For this alone, I wish I had bought the bose version.
The iGroove is a very nice, portable speaker system with great sound. It doesn't have any trouble filling a room with your favorite music.
Have had this for a while now, and I do love it a lot! Compared to other iPod speakers, it sounds amazing.
Pros: Good sound clarity for the price. I was looking for something cheaper than the Boise sound system and this definitely does a great job, good looks and great sound.
