Best Answering Machines for Corded

I give it 4 stars only because my recorded message for incoming calls sounds muffled and a little low.

The recorded voice quality is understandable but not great - sort of like a cell phone call.

Callers get a recorded message from the phone company that states that they must first dial 0 or 1.

In addition, if the caller has not spoken up 6 or 7 seconds after the beep, the unit will disconnect the call, and not include the silence as a recorded message.

it also comes with some pre recorded messages you can use.

The recorded in and outgoing message was as good as a tape machine.

I bought this machine only 2 months and the recorded voice become totally messed up, but the annoncement still working.
