i keep it in my bedroom because my poodle and spoiled cat sleep in bed with me. from Qvc.com gave off scents but did nothing to filter the air. from Qvc.com tho i am happy with the brethe air, this thermax outperforms.its a quality product that is a notch or 2 up the ladder.i do not have to run this all day as other[which is in the basement now with from Qvc.com this totally gets rid of the odor from the laundry room. from Qvc.com just didn't seen to do anything--now when you first put the freshner in you could smell it about maybe 5 minutes--and when my husband came in says what that washing machine over there do--?just from Qvc.com it has really made a difference in the smell coming from those spots, and i keep the units in a more discreet location and out of view. from Qvc.com there was a small pleasant smell from the drops, but any air freshener would do that without the noise. from Qvc.com i use it in the library where my husband smokes his stinky cigars and it cleans the air better than any air freshener that i have tried in the past. from Qvc.com have had the mini-max for 48 hours, within minutes of plugging it in,it gave off a fresh, clean smell and has continued to do so,the noise is minimal and,after awhile just fades into the from Qvc.com the scent lasted for about an hour. from Qvc.com
