a great product and making the air better means alot, especially when my kids are out there with me breathing the air. from Homedepot.com that meant that i wasn't sucking the dust into my lungs, and it wasn't coating everything in the house. from Homedepot.com keeps woodworking dust and odors from my attached garage from entering the house. from Absolutehome.com overall i think it is a great product and a well needed addition to my shop even with a dust collector installed. from Amazon.com i'm leaning toward mounting it on a wall above one of my tool stands (ceilings are pretty low, and i don't want to be banging my head on the air cleaner).it does a great job of clearing the dust out from Amazon.com noting that it exhausts cleaned air out of the back at a 45+ degree angle, and not straight out like i assumed it would, i decided it would make sense to install it next to a wall, about 6' from a from Amazon.com this air system might not be for everyone, but i create a lot of fine dust in my shop because of all the lathe work i do and it has stopped the little specks of dust from floating around in my shop. from Amazon.com my shop is 25 x 25 x 8, maybe a little large for this unit, but it does a fantastic job keeping the dust particles out of air. from Amazon.com an air filter should never be used in lieu of a dust collector but if youre like me and workin a garage with a combination of bench top tools and handheld power tools you know you can't ever get it from Amazon.com i have been amazed by how fast a thick layer of dust collects on the surface of the outer filter and how fast it clears the air after a big sanding effort. from Amazon.com
