The Honeywell HHT-145 air purifier works great! I was so impressed with my the first one, I purchased in October 2007. from Target.com She told me to bring it back to the store. Well, it was a gift, the store and the receipt are both over 500 miles away and this just sucks all around. Will never choose Honeywell again. from Amazon.com First thing we noticed is that, when I painted one room in our house you could not smell the paint unless you are actually in that room. Second thing we noticed is that when we went to vacuum our electrostatic filter for the main heating system there was no dust. We figured it would be all in the heppa filter of the Honeywell but was not a lot there either. I think the ionizer makes the dust drop to the floor and is picked up by the vacuum cleaner. from Amazon.com I have owned many Honeywell Air cleaners and I do own many still but this one is great. This one comes with the UV Light so it is an air cleaner and purifier in one. from Amazon.com I am allergic to cats, so naturally I adopted two and I'm about to get a third. I was STRUGGLING with my allergies so started looking into air purifiers and found that Honeywell consistently had good reviews. This was a very new model at the time I purchased and I was a bit nervous about being a guinea pig but my allergies clicked the purchase button for me. from Amazon.com got asthma - buy this machine, got pets - buy this machine. from Amazon.com and are bad on the lungs of asthma suffers, that is according to the e.p.a. from Target.com it freshens the air that my wife breathes in. from Amazon.com i put this in my living room/office area and it absolutely kills all odors. from Amazon.com i haven't ordered a new odor filter yet but after searching for one online it seems difficult to find just as someone else had mentioned. from Amazon.com
