This air purifier is actually one of the better ones that Radio Shack has to offer, You can take that from a former employee and a Customer, I own a total of four purifier for my allergies, I only use two of them they are both hunter air purfiers from Radioshack.com I bought the Hunter Quietflo Air purifier, to place in a room in my house so I could smoke and not worry about bothering anyone else. It has more than met it's original purpose. from Amazon.com this air purifier is actually one of the better ones that radio shack has to offer, you can take that from a former employee and a customer, i own a total of four purifier for my allergies, i only from Radioshack.com not only is it quite so you can sleep undisturbed at night, the "active" and "turbo" modes are great for during the day and quick changes of air. from Newegg.com i also use it my bedroom when not in the smoke room. from Amazon.com it's not whisper quiet on low, but i find the noise level acceptable and i sleep with it running right next to my bed. from Amazon.com it does have an seems to keep the smoke smell out of my office (roomates smoke). from Newegg.com it seems to have helped, and i've found it is also great at eliminating pet odors (if i don't run it, the room starts to smell like our dog). from Amazon.com i bought the hunter quietflo air purifier, to place in a room in my house so i could smoke and not worry about bothering anyone else. from Amazon.com i bought this primarily to reduce pollen in the air to keep my allergies under control. from Amazon.com
