i would recommend this for anyone with a smoker in the house. from Target.com the fragrance cartridge keeps the room smelling fresh.(a little strong the first day, but subtle after that)i am most impressed with the washable filter, what a money saver! from Target.com the unit is in a bedroom and appears to be making a difference in the amount of dust present. from Amazon.com it is quiet,excellent at taking smoke,smells and dust out of the air.i absolutely love the washable filter, just cleaning it showed me how well this product works! from Target.com we did try the scent cartridge but found it to be over powering and quickly removed it. from Amazon.com I went wrong when i wanted to save. I have 3 other air purifiers ranging from inexpensive to fairly expensive, and this air purifier fares extremely poorly in comparison, even to the cheapest one which is over 15 years old.
