My husband has allergies and has wanted an air purifier for a while. I looked all over and found the best price at Cooking.com. This Ionic Pro made a difference the first night. Both of us noticed the difference in the "lightness' of the air and my husband was not as congested. from Cooking.com Pros: Small, compact, quiet Cons: Doesn't work very well compared to the other model. The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product. from Shopping.com It does nothing. My son mentioned that he smells something, "smells like beer". I have other, smaller, ionic air purifiers that seems to work better. from Hsn.com My Wife and I purchased the larger one first from Ionic and after cleaning the collector and saw how much black dirt it collected we went and bought the twin pack of the smaller ones from Ionic.
