I bought this air purifier after looking at many reviews. I found some that rated higher, but were quite a bit more expensive. This one had a HEPA filter, which is the most important feature for people with asthma or allergies, and the price was not so high that I felt it would be a financial stress during these economic times. from Amazon.com My 10 month-old daughter has had a humidifier in her room during the winter months, and with summer coming up, I was worried about her being able to sleep without some similar white noise.
