I'm elderly with breathing problems. The Ionic Pro really seems to help me breath more easily, especially at night. from Sears.com I have had this unit running for over a month and still can not tell if the unit is making a difference or not, First of all, I do not smell the "Clean After a Rain" air that is advertised, second, the unit has been running for a month and nothing seems to collect on the electrostatic blades...hmmmm not working I suppose, You have to make sure the small Ionic button is lit for that part to work, still does not make any difference from my point of view. from Sears.com I bought the Pure Pro with great expectaions and in the first month was pleasantly surprised. Owning a similar, but older and more expensive Oreck XL Signature model, I was impressed by the much amount of dust and dirt that the Pure Pro pulled in over a one month period. from Amazon.com it is best in small rooms (like a bedroom), though, not powerful enough for "whole house" air cleaning. from Sears.com living with a troubled immunity system, allergies, 2 cats and now i can sleep with a husband that loves to eat beans. from Hsn.com my allergies are part of the past. from Hsn.com i'm elderly with breathing problems. from Sears.com i operate this air purifier in the master bedroom of my home. from Sears.com the only thing is the charcoal area smells weird and left my place smelling a little too oxidized (not natural). from Hsn.com the oxygen plus filter adds no better odor to the area than what was there to begin with. from Sears.com
