Build up so bad it was like tar and black gummy. So after a months time of other devices running 24/7 the Ionic Pro Turbo does what it says it will do. The Ionitc Pro Turbo was a few buck's cheaper then the Honeywell device as well! The Ionic Pro Turbo does the same thing and claims the same thing as Honeywell. from Bestbuy.com Sounds to good to be true; and if anything goes wrong that necessitates calling Honeywell to repair or replace; youll find out it is. Honeywell employs some of the rudest and arrogant customer service people I have ever dealt with, and their warrantys and guarantees are all written in their favor, not yours. from Drugstore.com My allergies were acting up and I was so miserable. Even so, this is a lot cheaper than replacing filters every two weeks and it is extraordinarily easy to clean the filter for this Honeywell purifier. I would definitely recommend the Honeywell HFD 120. from Amazon.com Confusion in HEPA home filters is starting to rise--I was at a local home improvement shop and they had a whole selection of machines--From True HEPA to "Hepa Type" and this one is supposedly better then "Hepa Type" but not as good as True Hepa. So for those who are allergic to everything, you may be better off with what Honeywell calls a "True Hepa." For me at least, I'm doing well with this model, and I'm relieved that I no longer have to buy 70 dollar filters for my old Honeywell machine. from Amazon.com I decided to get this air cleaner after trying the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze and a larger Honeywell HEPA filter.
