Best Window Air Conditioners for Weather

i have been around a bunch of window units before, some much larger than this one and this one beats them all when it comes to noise.

it also will cool another room across the hall if we open a window slightly.

seems that some have problems with the noise, but that is usually a problem with any window a/c if not installed properly or securely.

installation was typical of a window unit and was not a problem at all.

this was the highest btu window ac that i could find on the internet that used regular 120v power.

cools quickly and nicely and my apt.

i bought the window unit because a neighbor had also purchased it.

the ad here doesn't say that this is a casement/slider window unit.

i have a smallish house and the only place for an a/c is a sliding window.

installing in a casement window took about an hour after removing the old unit which with the same dimensions weighed at least 20 more pounds.

although some may consider it a little noisy (as are most window air conditioners) it really doesn't bother me.

to make our story a little more clear, the first was put in a replacement window, so it was really quiet.

it cools and dehumidifies efficiently and the noise level is acceptable for a window unit.i would recommend this unit as i believe for the price it offers exceptional value.

within 15 minutes it had my apartment nice and cool!!
