Pros: The Amcor PLM 16000 EH portable AC worked fine from April 13 to July 6. from Shopping.com I called they sent a new remote, which also didn't work. The unit actually stopped working, and BrilliantStore could no longer help me because it was outside the 30 Day mark, just a week, but outside that period. I was then refered to AMCOR. I have called them twice since the unit stopped working over a 3 week period, and have not even received a call back. from Amazon.com I bought this portable thinking it might be a nice solution for my master suite loft. I was in the middle of construction, so it was easy to add the proper circuitry, which is a 20amp breaker. from Amazon.com I bought the PLM16000EH from another web site (due to free shipping) and must say that it is a great product. I was looking for a way to heat and cool my FROG due to the fact that the central air conditioning was not routed up there. from Amazon.com the unit is well designed and works very well for our application - cooling a small room with some computer equipment. from Amazon.com pros: the amcor plm 16000 eh portable ac worked fine from april 13 to july 6. from Shopping.com no window needed. from Shopping.com i bought this portable thinking it might be a nice solution for my master suite loft. from Amazon.com when you press the reset button, the bright blue light on the front goes on (you can turn it off if you get up and press the buttons on the front). from Amazon.com anyhow, i returned the product and went and bought myself a window unit that was slightly lower btus, energy star rated and was about a third less the cost. from Amazon.com
