the bottom line: great unit, convenient, portable. from Shopping.com can be somewhat loud in small rooms. from Shopping.com most of the other portable air conditioner are so ugly i cannot even watch them! from Amazon.com i strongly suggest it if you are looking for a portable ac! from Amazon.com the exhaust tube is poorly insulated and gets pretty warm, so wrapping a little insulation around it may improve the overall cooling by a small amount. from Amazon.com however, that is a small price to pay after a hurricane has knocked out our power, the generator has been turned on, and it's a humid 95 degrees out without a breath of wind. from Amazon.com it can get the room as cold and nice as being in winter time and in such a small amount of time. from Amazon.com we bought this portable ac three years ago when it got so hot in seattle. from Amazon.com works well, could use a better mechanism to connect to the window when a sliding window (side-ways) from Amazon.com not only works perfectly and refresh the entire room, but i also love the design of this object that fit perfectly in my apt. from Amazon.com
