i just today bought 2 of them because my central air broke, and (of course) it's a friday, and no one can come out until monday.bottom line, i have a two story apartment. from Circuitcity.com not sure why everyone is complaining about noise, in fact, it runs pretty quiet compared to the window units i've purchased at home depot over the years. from Circuitcity.com i'm a 120lb female and installed it by myself using a small step ladder outside the window to help hold it after i lifted it in. from Circuitcity.com this is the first air conditioner that is a perfect fit for my tiny attic windows. from Circuitcity.com because every time i went to the store (and i went to several), it was one of the first models sold out.i really like the well written instructions and the ease in installing it in the window. from Homedepot.com but once it was in the window, i was quite pleased with the short time it tookto cool this large room. from Circuitcity.com i put it in my window and cranked it all the way up before i went to bed, i had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it down. from Circuitcity.com ft open studio apartment in brooklyn, ny and this air conditioner works wonders!!! from Circuitcity.com dont know why others are complaining about noise....moving air fast and forcefully with a fan creates noise! from Circuitcity.com it runs quietly and cools our large living room (27 by 15) without a problem. from Circuitcity.com
