i just today bought 2 of them because my central air broke, and (of course) it's a friday, and no one can come out until monday.bottom line, i have a two story apartment. from Circuitcity.com but once it was in the window, i was quite pleased with the short time it tookto cool this large room. from Circuitcity.com i put it in my window and cranked it all the way up before i went to bed, i had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it down. from Circuitcity.com ft open studio apartment in brooklyn, ny and this air conditioner works wonders!!! from Circuitcity.com it runs quietly and cools our large living room (27 by 15) without a problem. from Circuitcity.com the energy saver feature works great while we're asleep, and it keeps thelarge (l-shaped, alcove) space cool and comfortable. from Circuitcity.com you do have to take the chassis out of the cabinet for proper window mounting. from Circuitcity.com as a matter of fact, very little of the unit sticks outside the window. from Circuitcity.com a little difficult to assemble, once got unit properly installed in window works good. from Circuitcity.com instructions say to install shell in window opening and then place ac unit in shell. from Circuitcity.com
