For everyday use it makes a great fan and air ionizer/cleaner. It has an oscillating fan which you can direct up or down as it swings left and right to blow air all around the room. from Amazon.com I know I shouldn't expect much because of the price but this is more like a fan than a cooler. However, it does claim to cool 12 degrees cooler, which I didn't find at all.
