turns out it wasn't really available after all (fairly typical for sears), but i got it a week later.i needed a window extension kit for one of my casement windows.

it can be install by one person, i'm retired and carried it upstairs and set it in the window (82 ibs) if your not into lifting get a young man to do it.

this unit took me an hour to install, have only had it for 5 hours, it is very quiet, and my apt is nice and cool.

i'm still trying to get that $109 charge taken off my card though.it cools really well, my apartment is about 500 sq/ft and it cools the whole place in about and hour.

the manual at lg's site actually gives you the sears manual.overall, i think for a small apartment, or if you want a nice looking ac, this is probably the best unit available at this time.

despite the windows that leak massive air and the 1/8th inch of insulation in my attic this unit kept my house cold!!!
